Day 5 (Karina Lall)

Today has been a very long, but eventful day. We woke up earlier than usual to get ready and have desayuno (breakfast) in order to get to school at 8:30 this morning. Normally school starts at 9:00 but today it started at 8:30 so we could make up for the time we will lose next Friday in Madrid. We were at school from 

8:30 am to 1:15 pm in class with a few breaks in between. From 8:30 to 11:00 we had grammar class, from 11:00 to 12:00 we had conversation class, and finally from 12:00 to 1:15 we had culture. By the time school had ended we were all desperately waiting for our siesta (a long period of time set aside to nap). We all love the siesta so much!! We also had to complete la tarea (the homework) for tomorrow after school. 

After our siesta, all of us got ready to go on a bike ride and to have a picnic. We went biking and took some pictures along the way. Then we laid out some picnic blankets and ate la cena (dinner) all together. Today has been a long but fun day and I can't wait for more adventures in España!
